1. MDF (MEDIUM DENSITY FIBREBOARD)

2. HDF (HIGH-DENSITY FIBREBOARD)

HDF board is made from compressed wood fibres and is more durable than MDF board. They are more water resistant than MDF. They are utilised in flooring, interior furnishings, wall panelling, and other applications.

3. Particle Board

Sawdust and woodchips are combined with resin to make particle board. It is also known as the lightest and weakest of all the boards utilised in interior design. This board is mostly utilised for lightweight applications such as shoe racks.

4. Plywood

Wood veneer is assembled onto a flat sheet to create plywood. Plywood is sturdy and resists water damage better than other building materials. It can survive moderate moisture and preserve its shape in extreme temperatures.
